This course guides the student through their Internship.
PREREQUISITES: HYP100, LAW101

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Students completing this course will:
- Learn to discuss client issues in consultation
- Receive feedback on client issues and practice procedures
- Coordinate internship activities with Field Supervisors and Internship Instructor
- Successfully accumulate required internship hours for program completetion.
This course will have no lecture component.
This course will have no required text.
ONLINE CLASS DISCUSSIONS
Class will meet for one and 1/4 hour in the “HPTI webconferencing room” via internet once a week.
Meets on-line weekly for 24 consecutive weeks for 1.25 hours for class discussion related to accumulating hours toward completion of internship requirements. Class meeting will be used to discuss individual internship experiences and for group supervision purposes. Students will be asked to present cases for feedback and to provide for other students.
Grade will be noted as Pass/Fail only and will not count toward GPA calculation. Students will be expected to attend online sessions, participate in discussions, follow up on suggested approaches to their Internship to demonstrate adequate effort.
